The louvers let me aim the warmth right at my desk while I work, and the timer is perfect for shutting it off after I fall asleep on the couch. It heats my whole living room in about fifteen minutes without any clicking or rattling noises.

The timer is my favorite part, I set it for an hour before bed and it shuts off on its own so I'm not up checking. Heats my drafty office in about ten minutes on the low setting, which is quieter than I expected.

The adjustable louvers actually make a difference — I can point the heat right at my feet while I'm working at the desk instead of warming the whole room. Ran it on low most evenings and it kept my drafty office comfortable without the thermostat kicking on constantly.
